Thirty percent of the Romany language is composed of words unique to each Romany settlement, making extensive Bible translation a challenge. The illiteracy of many Roma creates an additional difficulty, yet Roma are responding when encountering the Word of God. Lives are changing as Bibles are being used in new Romany churches across CEE and literacy programs are being established.
