Are you planning your summer vacation? Or thinking about what you might do on your Spring Break? Or have you just retired and are wondering what exciting new adventure you can embark on? Maybe something exotic for a change! Well, you're in luck! CEE would like to cordially invite you to spend some time with us-as a volunteer missionary!! It'll be better than a theme park, better than bingo, and lots better than staying home and watching television. You might:

  • See first hand how the Gypsy believers live and worship
  • Prayer walk through the villages of Siberia
  • Teach Vacation Bible School to Lithuanian children who have never before heard the name of Jesus
  • Help plant a new church in the ancient land of Greece
  • Feed refugees fleeing from war and persecution
  • Lead a sports camp among youth in Poland

The opportunities are endless. Almost any country in CEE has requests for volunteers to come and help them with the work of winning people to Christ and discipling them. And the best part is that you don't need any special training-you can use the skills that God has already given you--musicians, athletes, doctors, teachers, evangelists-you name it and we can use it! All you need is a heart that is willing to serve and a passport. If you have these qualifications and are somewhere between the ages of 12 and 112, we invite you to be an honorary member of one of our people-group teams. If you take the challenge, you won't be alone. Over 30,000 Southern Baptists volunteer for mission work every year-people just like you, who want to make a difference in the world, and take the leap of faith to actually do it.

Ephesians 2:10 says, "We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Have you ever wondered what good works God has planned for you? Why don't you ask him? If He's been planning for it since the beginning of time, then you can be sure He's got the plans all worked out. All you have to do is say "YES!" Just think what an adventure that would be!
