God has called and empowered His people to reach the uttermost parts of the earth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In our day, more and more churches are enthusiastically embracing God’s call to pray, give and go.
Perhaps your church or ministry has accepted this call and been directly involved in overseas mission trips, but have become frustrated with evangelistic results that do not result in new churches being planted. Maybe churches have been planted, but they have failed to multiply into other reproducing churches.
Why is the idea of church multiplication so important? Think about it. CEE covers 12 time zones, 25 countries, 440 people groups and cities, and almost 400 million people. To reach this vast land, churches must multiply and do so rapidly. Each day 29,000 people in CEE die without hearing about Jesus! We believe to put the Gospel within reach of all 440 groups in our generation, we need 122 church-planting movements actively at work!
Imagine joining this effort of seeing the gospel spread rapidly throughout CEE! Imagine standing in the gap on behalf of a people group or city that is highly unevangelized with little or no church planting underway and doing whatever it takes to see God glorified and churches multiplied among them. Imagine your church or ministry becoming the virtual strategy coordinator for an unreached people group or city in CEE by taking on this comprehensive responsibility where there is few known believers or churches and the IMB has no current personnel on the ground!
You will not be alone. The leadership of CEE wants to offer your church or ministry the opportunity to accept the responsibility for an unreached group in CEE, but they will also provide strategy coordination training, assist in developing a master strategy plan, and maintain an ongoing consultation relationship. We believe we can reach this generation in CEE for Christ, but we must join together so that there will be hope for every heart, a church-planting movement for every people in CEE
