OUR VISION is to give hope to every heart by initiating a church-planting movement (CPM) for every people group in Central and Eastern Europe by the year 2010. This is the vision that brought us to the field and the one that keeps us here and seeking God in prayer. Our mission is to join God in His work by nurturing CPMs through evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, and ministering to human needs, which will result in locally led, multiplying churches.

WHAT IS A CPM? A church-planting movement, or CPM, is a work of God’s Spirit among a people group or population segment producing a rapid and exponential increase of indigenous churches planting churches.

IMAGINE A GROUP OF PEOPLE of common culture and language but no evangelical witness or church. We engage this people group through a strategy coordinator (SC), who prayerfully develops under God’s leadership a strategy for facilitating a CPM. The SC builds a prayer network, a church-planting team, and partnerships with existing evangelistic Christians. They see people come to Christ and gathered into churches. They teach these churches in the process of reaching others for Christ and planting new churches. They see the gospel travel along existing networks of relationships. They train leaders for these churches as God raises them up from within each church. These churches multiply. Two churches become four. Four churches become 16 churches. Leaders begin training new leaders. In turn, these new leaders reach out and train more emerging leaders. A CPM begins and blossoms!

THIS IS THE VISION OF CEE. We desire to see churches begin and multiply rapidly, spreading the gospel message quickly and completely. We believe to put the gospel within reach of all 440 groups, we need 122 CPMs.
